Son of Lead Me Astray

by Cameron Jirowetz

about

This is a reworked version of Lead Me Astray from my first album Hiatus From Myself. I don't know why I didn't make the track like this the first time. This track also marks the first recording at my home-studio, Studio Caviar & Sons.

lyrics

on the ground in front of me
lie something odd and strange to see
it's not anything of this earth
I'll pick it up and see it's worth

(
In his hands held a point of view
similar sights and location too
he knew not its origin or destiny
)

"This thing I'm holding, it's real, it's me."

from ahead a cloud rolled in
blocked out the sun and picked up wind
thick like a slime and gaining speed
the crawling death lurched right at me

(
he lifted from his feet and flew
at least the distance from me to you
into a void of darkness where
he lost all sight but was still aware
)

about

Cameron Jirowetz East Haddam, Connecticut

Hey there,
I make music. I try to make my stuff unique. I am influenced by pop, art rock, soul, and psychedelic bands of the 60s and 70s; if you’re into stuff like that, chances are my tunes might be up your alley. If not, that’s okay.
